I don't normally bother with New Year's Revolutions. For one thing, the change of the calendar does not mean very much in the grand scheme of things. It simply means that the Earth has completed a full revolution around the sun (forgive me; I am studying astronomy for the month of January).
The point of this blog and this project isn't really a New Year's Revolution. It is a fun little time waster. It is something to carry me through a year of transitions and change, as I graduate from college in May and begin life in "the new world" (whatever that means, anyway).
Some days I may elaborate on posts with more than just haikus, and other days I may simply post the days haiku (or plural, depending on the day). In the end, though, there will be a haiku for every day of 2011 (minus week one).
