These haikus were written while at work (on a break, I assure you), and they were the inspiration for the haiku-a-day project.
Sounds of the office
ringing phones, typing fingers
will drive one crazy
Oh, data entry
such a repetitive task
til eyes glaze over
Distant chatter is
heard from other cubicles
/headdesk ...and repeat.
Oh, monotony!
A printer buzzing elsewhere
joins the office sounds.
