Documenting Every Day In Concise Syllables

Twitter limits you to 140 characters; Facebook limits you to a little more. Haikus limit you to 5-7-5 syllables; but in the end, all that limits you is your mind. Be unlimited. Be creative. Be to the point.

Silly Day in the Nursery

We had only one kid in the nursery today, and that was miss Julia, who evidently (according to her mother) associates church time as play time with Sarah and Andrew.

Well, we certainly had a fun day with her today, inspiring this haiku:
Dino sacrifice
Everyone gathers to watch
creepy ritual.

Admittedly, maybe I was the one have the most fun playing with the plastic dinosaurs...but Julia has a blast anyway. She was giggling and smacking Andrew and then giggling more when I would laugh hysterically. I love that kid. :)

This second haiku was prompted by the kitties, who like to be a tad creepy themselves at times.

Intently staring
as she smooths down orange fur
time for Oscar's bath.
